I'm an editor and writer who began my career as a newspaper reporter in Perth, Western Australia, before moving to the UK.
Since then, I've worked in magazines and books, covering a range of areas including TV, fashion, homes and food. I've edited a homes and gardens magazine for Homebase, a food magazine for Tesco and recipe books for Asda, Sainsbury’s and WW.
I've worked on publications for community groups including Leap, a group helping young people manage and deal with conflict and the LGBT+ organisation Pride, as well as City & Guilds, a global leader in training and skills development.
In addition to being a news addict and lover of history, I have strong interest in environmental issues, and spend my spare time fighting a mostly losing battle against snails, bugs and mud at my London allotment.
