I started out in real life features and entertainment journalism - my interview technique is as sensitive when it comes to discussing life-and-death situations, as it is to wheedling out tantalising celebrity details.
My writing style balances SEO with content that feels readable, relatable and real.
I spent eight years with the Press Association specialising in online content - my interviews for PA have been used across national publications in print and online. And I've also written for numerous newsstand magazines.
These days I'm a regular contributor to Yahoo UK Entertainment.
When I'm not working, I spend time helping combat loneliness in my local community – a cause that’s been close to my heart since long before lockdown. I feel a great sense of achievement from working with Sutton Befrienders and Dementia Friends to offer companionship and support to people feeling isolated and in need of a chat.
